Embody Love Movement in Bend
Embody Love Workshop for young women (age 12-17)
Saturday, April 29th, from 1:00-4:00 pm at Groove Yoga
This 3 hour transformational workshop is a journey inward towards more self acceptance and love. Through experiential exercises and creative and embodied exploration, the goal is to set new positive intentions on how we feel, think about and speak to ourselves and others. We will look at internalized beliefs about beauty and self worth through the lens of culture, media and other external influences so that we might discover and differentiate how our worthiness truly comes from within. Led by Dr. Melody Moore
Embody Love Support Systems for adults who support, parent, teach young women
Sunday, April 30th, from 11:30am-1:00pm at Groove Yoga
Dr. Melody Moore will share her experiences as a Clinical Psychologist, yoga instructor, author, social entrepreneur, and founder of Embody Love Movement who spent seven years in private practice specializing in Eating Disorder recovery before choosing to combine the healing tools of yoga, embodied experience, and psychodynamic therapy to create a program that would allow others to know that they are valuable and worthy. She will provide valuable information such as warning signs, communication tools, and resources. This will be a talk followed by a Q & A.
